What great information!

I now understand why my marriage of 34 years has had so little joy and a son who grew up without respect for parents, authority and God. I thought it was too late to enjoy my marriage and life in general but now I have hope. It's Bible based and very encouraging. The light has come on and I can never thank the author of this book enough.

I have read so many marriage books lately and none of them have helped.

This book has truly opened my eyes and shown me a different way to approach my marriage.

It has been a lifesaver and came just in time.

I realize the mistakes that we made along the way and were working on putting our marriage back together because of this wonderful book.

You will not regret reading this book. I couldn't put it down once I started reading it.

This book is amazing. Some ideas I have heard before, but it puts it in a new light. The examples he uses give clarity to those ideas. The ideas that were new to me are profound and so helpful. This is a good read no matter your relationship status (good, bad, married, dating, or single) or even to prepare you for a relationship.

When my boyfriend (now husband) and I were going through a tough time a couple of years ago, we attended a Love & Respect conference at the advice of a close friend. And I think I can honestly say that it saved our relationship. There is so much insightful information in this book and with this concept. It will completely change the way you look at your spouse/partner and the way you look at your relationship. I requested the book through PBS because I wanted to have a copy for my personal library and I'm so glad I did. Now I always have a copy of this marriage treasure whenever I feel like we are getting on the "Crazy Cycle". :D

Dr. Emerson Eggerichs doesn't offer the promise of a quick fix solution to marital problems but he does offer husband and wives a fresh perspective on how to improve their relationships. He moves beyond the often dreading "s" word-submission and shows how love and respect impacts relationships. Provides great insights.
