This book is a great read. Mr. Gordy is extremely candid and I have more respect for him as a business man. I just really wished he had held on to Motown and just look to the younger generation to keep the business going and meaningful. Black artists are still treated like 2nd class compared to other groups. It was an extremely sad day when he had to sell Motown but he definitely left a legacy.

This is a very engaging story told by non other than Mr Berry Gordy himself! The rich history and love behind many of Motown's success as told first hand are a treasure and also very inspiring
