She called herself Danny. A runaway fighting to survive the shadowy boulevards of Paris. A lady who concealed her beauty and her dangerous secrets beneath tattered rags as she waited to right a terrible wrong.

He was Justin, Earl of Linton. An English aristocrat moved by compassion to save a wretched street waif from a life of hardship...only to discover a woman with much to offer- and so very much to hide.

About this title: Danny, a seeming street waif, is really a vengeful lady in disguise. Yet she manages to steal the heart of Justin, Earl of Linton, who compassionately tries to save her.

Very enjoyable read. The story is full of intrigue, suspense, action, romance and passion. Being set in a very difficult time for Paris, there is alot of historical parallels. I greatly enjoyed the book and would recommend it to anyone who like historical romance novels.
