I just read a message on Susan Andersen's page at FB that the old Loveswept imprint is making a comeback? Has anyone heard about it? It'll feature some old classics and original stories. The only Loveswepts I've kept are my Deborah Smiths, I hated parting with many of the others but it was a tough decision to make to get rid of them. Gail |

Really??? I still have a bunch of Loveswepts. Probably because they're stored in a couple of boxes. I would have a problem parting with most of what I have. Deborah Smith, Iris Johnasen, Kay Hooper. I think I did part with my Jennifer Crusies while I could still sell them for $$ on Ebay when they started to reissue her older stuff. I figured they'd all eventually get reprinted and I could buy a new copy if I wanted them. |

It's going to be all digital, with mostly reprints and some new ones. Here's the info: http://dearauthor.com/book-reviews/thursday-midday-links-loveswept-is-coming-back/ May I recommend Lightning that Lingers - awesome, awesome book. Very 80's... hero is a male stripper! And heroine is a librarian. It rises above its cliches. |

Kay Hooper comes to mind! isn't that what sandra brown wrote for? I liked several - Night of the Hawk and Blackthorne's Woman - think Victoria Leigh wrote those...Eagle Catcher (forgot author) and dangit another one that was very good whre this hurt guy hides in this woman's van and goes home with her to hide out...think it has the same title as another author but I fially found it and got a keeper. |

I definitely must have missed something when I read LIGHTNING THAT LINGERS - it seems to be a universal favorite - but I didn't like it at all. I'm not sure what I didn't 'get' when I read it, but I have to admit that I didn't care for any of the books they wrote so it could be their writing style that didn't jibe with me. I've recently been listening to Evanovich's old Loveswepts on CD - I know I read them when they first came out but didn't remember anything of the plot so I really enjoyed them. Now I have her Steffie Hall SCALs (on CD) on request from the library. Thanks for the linke about the LS comeback - I'll check it out this evening. Gail |

Yes, Sandra Brown wrote for the Loveswept line. I think they've all been reissued by now. |
