#9 in the JD Robb/Nora Roberts "In Death" series.

Fast moving terrorist plot hatched by our own citizens. "We are Cassandra" deliver cryptic clues and messages about their intended targets, as well as impossible demands, to the police, headed by our Heroine, Eve Dallas. To make matters more complex, her assistant's (Peabody) visiting brother becomed inadvertently drawn into the conflict through a conniving woman, and as usual, it takes both Dallas and her husband Roarke to save the day.

More Action oriented than even the usual "In Death" novel, I liked this one quite a bit! A bit of political intrigue and the usual people-who-are-not-who-they-seem-to-be.

J. D. Robb series in Death was the greatest series I've read. Do yourself a favor and get the whole series and read them from book one to the end. The main charter, Eva Dalas seems to catch the least little detail to solve the murders. I loved reading them. They were full of action and sex. The only thing I didn't like were the F words. I just didn't let the words register I skipped them.

I enjoyed this 9th installment in the Death series. This sees Eve pitting her skills against a terrorist group going by the moniker of Cassandra, who are set upon destroying symbols of perceived capitalist greedmongers. There is a Side story of Peabody and her brother which sees Eve juggling more than one murder and the ties that bind all of them together. Peabody and McNabb continue their game of romantic cat and mouse, further complicating the mix. Topic is relevant in the past, present and in the future. It takes all of her wits, with a bit of help from the ever present Roarke to solve this case before more lives are lost. It did not disapoint.
