Looking over my tbr I have not 1, not 2, but 10 novels by Luanna Rice.  I have never read any of her books and think I'd like to try one now. I think they are stand alone, not part of a series.  Help me decide which I should read first.  Thanks!!

(or is there one I don't have that I should read before the ones I already have?)

I have-

she's in my tbr but haven't read her yet...seems like summer of roses is the sequel to s ummer's child or vice versa so check that out before reading one of them because I think the story continues.

 If you choose to read Cloud Nine have some tissues handy. Very emotional read.

IIRC  The Secret Hour is a bit different from a lot of her books. It's got some suspense to it with the missing sister and murderer. I thought it was a good book.

I enjoyed Dance With Me also.

I didn't care for Crazy In Love.

I think Susanna is right about Summer's Child and Summer of Roses going together.

I loved Cloud Nine and like Jennifers says, have tissues handy!  If I had a keeper shelf, Cloud Nine would be on it.

I love Luanne Rice!  Her books are very emotional, and a lot of female/family drama on top of (usually) a romance.  Most of them take place in the northeast (Connecticut?).

I have a lot of hers too and they are very involved stories. So far I have read Dance with Me which I really enjoyed, and Crazy In Love which was good. It's great to read when you know you got all the time in the world without interruption and can sit through it til the end.

Thanks.  So far Crazy in Love sounds like the least popular....

Please vote on my booklist so I can keep track...

According to Fictiondb, Rice only has 3 sets of books that are considered a series/related to one another (Hope this helps)

Hubbard's Point: 1-Beach Girls, 2-Last Kiss;

Summer:  Summer's Child,  Summer of Roses;

Related books: Sandcastles, What Matters Most

I have read almost all of her books and have found her to be what I call a true romantic.  Loved almost all of her books, great for summer reading.

Thanks Holly, that is the info I was hoping for.... I hate reading a book only to find out later that it is part of a series and it wasn't the first one, lol.
