I grew up watching Family Ties, so this was an interesting "behind the scenes" look at a celebrity that I felt like I knew. This book doesn't disappoint, as he is just a regular guy and a likeable one at that. His struggle to cope with his Parkinson's disease shares the same issues as anyone who's ever had to deal with a serious obstacle in his or her life, and he confronted this in no more a heroic fashion than anybody else. Perhaps the best compliment to the author is that this is just a regular guy story--- someone who loves his wife, adores his kids, and managed to have a good life despite having a debilitating disease. If you're looking for insider gossip (well, there's a little bit of that) or a bachelor "tell all", this isn't it. It is an enjoyable read.

As a fan of Michael J Fox it was inspiring to read his "behind the scenes" story. I learned alot about Parkinson's and about Michael.

Well written bio. It made me understand what he went through without making me feel sorry for him. I did think it went on a little longer than necessary.

Well done autobiography. Not as much about his Parkinson's treatment as I had expected but certainly a lot on how he has coped and dealt with it.

Always liked Michael J Fox but didn't know a number of things that he included in his books. I really enjoyed them.
