REMINDER:  The RAOK forum is open to the public, not just to PBS members.  To protect your privacy, the 3 monthly recurring threads are intended to be limited to just what their titles say - Wishes, RAOK offers, and Thanks for wishes granted.  In other words, the posts in these 3 threads should be originating messages only.  Responses to, or chat about, those posts should be by private PMs.  Chatting is welcome in the Share and Care forum, which is limited to PBS members, and where card showers and prayer chains are available for anyone who asks for support.
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Welcome to the Wishes thread, where we post our wishes - maybe things we collect, something we can no longer find in our area, things we have always wanted etc, etc. No wish is too unusual (though common sense is appreciated!); you never know what will turn up.

We must all abide by these PBS rules :
You may not wish for money or money-like items such as gift cards, or for monetary donations for any charities.  You may ask for things you collect for charities, such as stamps, pop can tabs, etc., but you may not solicit funding. This includes donations for GoFundMe and other fund-raising events.
No buying or selling or advertising. No spam posts.
No wishing for credits.  Credits are bought, sold and loaned only in the Book Bazaar forum, or you may use the PBS Kiosk to purchase them.
Do NOT ask for books, since books are swapped on the site and book deals are made in the Book Bazaar. Sorry, but you may not ask for free books of any kind. (Unpostable books are given away in the damaged book thread of the Bazaar and sometimes in the RAOK thread.  There is also a Damaged/Unpostable Virtual Box in the Games forum.)

Our own RAOK rules:
Please do not offer payment for the things you are sent, including postage. RAOKs are given freely, asking nothing in return except a thank you. You could pay it forward by granting a wish yourself.
Please limit your wishes to no more than 10. Lists could get very long. You can always edit as you go along.
Unlike many other forums, we ask that you do NOT reply within the threads. We do everything by PMs between members. This keeps the threads clutter-free and easy to use. When you come to this ***Wishes*** thread, you see wishes. In the ***RAOK*** thread, it's all about things we are giving away - simple and easy. And to protect your privacy, please do not post your address in the thread - it's all done via PM.
Please check in and answer your PMs. It's frustrating when people want to grant your wishes and don't hear from you!
PLEASE say THANK YOU to the person who grants your wish.  You may use our monthly ***Thank You*** thread, or you may acknowledge what you have received via a personal PM to the member(s) who granted your wishes. This is very important if you wish to continue to receive things from others.

Tips:
Check the RAOK thread before you post wishes -- the thing you want may already be there for the asking!  If you see a wish you can grant, just PM the poster for their address.
And please remember, if one of the moderators contacts you about a posting, then we are only trying to keep the forum running smoothly and according to PBS rules. If you are asked to change, move, or delete your post, please do so. Most of you know that the PBS team does get involved to edit posts, and accounts do get suspended, if rules are broken. We hate to see that happen to our fellow RAOKers!

If you have questions, feel free to contact me.  I wish that your wish(es) will be granted!

Happy March !

Thanks to all that have granted my wishes in the past. It is greatly appreciated.

There's only 2 things on my wish list this month.

1) Size 3XL white V-neck tees for Bob. Has to be V-neck, not round neck or he can't wear them. It's the only shirts he wears 99% of the time and he really needs some badly.

2) I'm still hoping someone will have pity on me and help me get 1-2 bras in a size 44-C. (No padded cups). Any color would be ok but would prefer white or black. I'd love to have playtex 18 hour bras, but I know those are higher priced. So any help would surely be appreciated.

Wishes are being granted. Thanks so very much.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

My wishes for this month are:

1.  Any Richard Simmons DVDs like Dancing to the Oldies for a 4th grader who loves to dance but is extremely overweight.  We are trying to encourage him to dance every day.        FILLED< THANK YOU!

2.  PRAYERS for the State Employees, including teachers, cooks, aides, bus drivers, who have walked out of the classroom and have been out for 7 days so far.  I would have walked even though I don't agree with walk-outs in this situation.     FILLED - Thank you to everyone.  This walk out is over and kids are back in school.  State Employees got a raise and a panel to help solve the insurance problems.

3.  Still looking for a dressy pant suit for a wedding.  I have been to Belk's and Macy's so far and found nothing.  Other ideas. even if I have to drive a distance.   Thank you everyone who sent me ideas.  I actually ordered something from Chadwicks today and will continue to look at 2nd hand shops in case this one doesn't fit.

Thank you!

Two down, and just one to go!  I have my last securities exam on March 19, so any good thoughts (good wishes, prayers, crossed fingers, crossed toes, anything!) to pass this test will be greatly appreciated.  This is the hardest of the three (a three-hour, 140 question test).  Thank you!!

Lately I have been hankering after a puzzle magazine, either any Games World of Puzzles back issue, or a magazine of  all crosswords or crosswords with variety puzzles, such as those put out by Penny Press or Dell. It doesn´t matter how old it is and it´s no problem if some of the puzzles have already been solved, as long as there are plenty more that have not. laugh

Cross stitching materials.  My daughter has just started doing this and loves it.  She is okay on floss but keeps losing needles.  She could use little, easy project kits.

Votive size scented candles.

  • yogurt (not light or 0% fat): Chobani, Brown Cow, Fage, Noosa

Happy March!

I'd be very grateful for:

- A computer mouse with scroll wheel.  My beloved old mouse finally croaked. I didn't realize how much I used that scroll wheel feature until I didn't have it :-).  If you have an old one hanging around, I'd put it to good use :-) - Wish granted!!  Thanks so much Vicky T.!!!

- Any Tiki, tropical, leopard print, or retro-50's item.  Even the smallest item finds a special place in my little Tiki room.

- It's my birthday on March 28th & I'd love happy messages or birthday cards.

Thank you so much to all the wonderful friends in the RAOK that bring a smile to every day heart

Adding in an end of March Wish. I recently was introduced to glue tape. Such a wonderful invention that works on a larger surface (such as gluing down a picture or smaller card onto cardstock) so much better than a glue stick. It is costly though so if anyone ever buys multipack or finds this on sale, I'd truly appreciate one. It looks like this at Wal-Mart for 6: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sparco-Double-Sided-Glue-Tape-Pack-of-6/47217226 Staples also sells a two pack: https://www.staples.com/Staples-Roll-On-Permanent-Glue-Tape-1-3-x-393-2-Pack-14993/product_689269

Thank you for keeping me in mind for this :)

Hi everyone.  I'm late to the March party after not being on the forums for a while...  My wishes right now are:

- knitting or crochet magazines you don't want (in any language -- I'm adventurous!)

- any yarn in greens and/or blues will also find a place in one or more of my many projects.

Thanks for looking! :)
