This is where we post our wishes - maybe things we collect, something we can no longer find in our area, things we have always wanted etc, etc. No wish is too unusual (though common sense is appreciated!); you never know what will turn up.

We must all abide by these PBS rules :
You may not wish for money or money-like items such as gift cards or postage (stamps),  including such donations for any charities.  You may ask for things you collect for charities, such as cancelled stamps, pop can tabs, etc., but you may not solicit funding. This includes donations for 'gofundme' and other fund-raising events.
No buying or selling or advertising. No spam posts.
No wishing for credits.  Credits are bought, sold and loaned only in the Book Bazaar forum, or use the PBS Kiosk to purchase.
Do NOT ask for books  since books are swapped on the site and book deals are made in the Book Bazaar. Sorry, but you may not ask for free books of any kind. (Unpostable books are given away in the damaged book thread of the Bazaar and sometimes in the RAOK thread.  There is also a Damaged/Unpostable Virtual Box in the Games forum.)

Our own RAOK rules: 
Please do not offer payment for the things you are sent, including postage. RAOKs are given freely, asking nothing in return except a thank you. You could pay it forward by granting a wish yourself.
Please limit your wishes to no more than 10. Lists could get very long. You can always edit as you go along.
Unlike many other forums, we ask that you do NOT reply within the threads. We do everything by PMs between members. This keeps the threads clutter-free and easy to use. When you come to this ***I Wish*** thread, you see wishes. In the ***RAOK*** thread, it's all about things we are giving away - simple and easy. And to protect your privacy, please do not post your address in the thread - it's all done via PM.
Please check in and answer your PMs. It's frustrating when people want to grant your wishes and don't hear from you!

My eldest daughter, Anastasia, is a teacher at a Christian HS in Clinton, Maryland, near DC.  One of her senior students, 17 yo Christopher Perrry, was gunned down by his mother last Thursday night in what police are calling a 'domestic dispute'.  My daughter was Christopher's drama teacher, play director, and senior class sponsor. She and her husband, who was Christopher's soccer coach and is the youth pastor for the school, are struggling with this horror  while trying to calm and provide comfort to the students who were friends, teammates, and classmates to Christopher.  Please pray for Christopher's family (23 yo sister Alexis and his father) while they try to plan his funeral and keep everyone at Grace Brethren schools in your thoughts too.

I am so sorry to hear about Christopher! And those that were close to him and his family. Mom and I will be praying for you all!

Happy March! 

First, I just wanna take a moment to thank everyone for making this little community so wonderful. I'm honored to be part of a group of such kind people and have made wonderful friends here. 

My wishes this month are: 

 Paint brushes for painting details (I restore old dolls and use such brushes for their eyes and small parts) , which is basically any paint brush with small bristles.

 Solid color pastel (light blue, pale pink, etc) scarves in any material 

 Anything related to Snow White 

 My long shot wish this month is for any vintage magazines - rather it be beauty, fashion, patterns, lifestyle, comic book, anything - that are 1960s, 50s or earlier. 

Anything that can be used on an HO scale train layout (old train cars, people, scenery etc)  or old model railroad magazines for my 74 year old husband to  lkeep him occupied while he is recuperating from colon cancer surgery. He had model railroad as a hobby years ago and recently got interested in them again. Anything would be appreciated especially prayers for his recovery.

  Though this has been done in the past, new guidance from the PBS staff says we should NOT wish for postage (stamps) in the Raok forum.  Since stamps can be returned to the PO for cash, it is like asking for money which is against the rules.

Happy March. Thanks to Claire, I'm back in PBS for another year. I will be adding books to my bookshelf over the weekend.

Long shot: I need a pair of wraparound sunglasses that can be worn over glasses. I broke the pair I had. My eyes are very sensitive to light & sun, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
