Please use this thread to post thanks for the RAOK gifts, wishes granted, and anything else you are thankful for here on PBS.  Let's try to keep the ***RAOK*** and ***I Wish*** threads easier to check for wishes to grant and goodies to request.

Note: please be sure to thank people who grant your RAOK wishes. It's not necessary to do it here in the thread if you prefer to PM to let the sender know you received your gifts. Unfortunately, things do get lost in the mail. In addition, senders have mentioned that they have not heard from the people they have sent things to, and wonder if the items have been received. We hesitate to keep sending to someone who does not acknowledge. If someone declines your request, that may be the reason.  Senders contact me in frustration, saying that they do not know if items are received and that it is usually the same people who do not correspond. Most have decided not to send to those requestors again. It is sad, but necessary to them. Please respond in some way.

A BIG THANK YOU For all the GET-WELL Greeting Cards for my recovery from my February 5th serious auto accident!  Thanks PBS friends for filling my mailbox with sweet and caring greetings!!  You know who you are- surely encouraged my long days of being homebound and limited. Thanks REK for the nice red scarf and thanks Mona for the lovely new Children's Book from my wishlist- such kindness!!!  My broken leg ( compound fracture) is healing well and I'm walking with a walking boot- and started to drive short distances the past couple weeks which was a bit scary but feeling better and better about it. So good to be able to get out and about and begin to resume my volunteer work at a local Thrift Shop for the Methodist church I attend- I love volunteering there and find some fun bargains, Thanks again to all of you who sent me a greeting card and to Jeanne G for getting the word out!  They brought me much cheer and JOY!  Blessings to All!  Jody
