This is where we post things we are looking for.

First:  Remember: this is the place to wish.  We all have wishes.  If you feel someone has asked for something too large, expensive or extravagant,   just ignore.  Please be kind.  Don't make someone feel badly.  None of us know someone else's circumstances, unless we ask...........................For those of us asking, let's remember this is  NOT a place to stock pantries, get all our presents for others, etc.  It's a place for members to wish for items for themselves and immediate family.  Also, PBS rules do not allow one to ask for money, even for charities, here.  You may ask for other items, such as stamps and boxtops, etc.

Here, you list a few things you like/collect/can use.  Obviously,  we all like certain things like  credits, wish-list books, etc. This is NOTfor that kind of thing.   This is for  things others might have around the house that you can use (for instance if you collect postcards, bookmarks, Coke codes, or if there's a candy you love you can't find in your area, etc).  **   Please remember that books, by title or genre, should not be requested in this forum(I Wish thread).  There may be other places for that.  If someone sends you a book, please receive it and thank the member sending it.

Please limit your list to about 10 items (Remember,  you can edit your list), and if someone PMs you for your address, please acknowledge and thank them when you receive whatever they send you.  There is a separate thank you thread so we can  keep this one clean and easy to read.   It can get jumbled and hard to read with extra clutter so if we can do our best to keep it to our requests and the rare bump, that would be awesome :)  It's important to thank everyone who send something either by PM and or the thank you thread so that we know the item arrived.  Members do not want to send things, continously, to others who do not let them know the items have arrived.

It's always good to check the RAOK thread before you post your wishes -someone may already have what you are looking for. (For those of you looking for them, coupons are offered on the RAOK  on a regular basis.)   There is now a separate coupon thread within the RAOK forum, if you wish to trade there.

If you post wishes, try to grant at least one wish yourself, so this place is not considered a "gimme" group,  where people post but don't send out.  PBS members can become good friends, don't abuse, please!  **NOTE:  Cathy W. (Firefly) collects cancelled postage stamps for charity.**

If you see a wish you are able to grant, just PM the poster and ask for their name and address - that's it, simple and easy and a lot of fun!  Note:  And please be sure to thank members who grant your RAOK wishes.  It's not necessary to do it here, but do PM to let them know you received your gifts.   Too many things have been lost in the mail.  Lately, members have mentioned that they have not heard from the members that they have sent things to and wonder if they have been rec'd.   We hesitate to keep sending to someone who does not acknowledge, as we do not know if other items were rec'd.   If someone declines your request, that may be the reason.

- Anything cross stitching related, but especially patterns

- Bandanas, as they are the only means of controlling my hair. Any colors and patterns are welcome, but I especially like blues and greens

- Fantasy Artwork, especially featuring dragons, faeries, centaurs, phoenix, sphinx; but anything fantasy related would be awesome (poster, postcard, sticker, old calendar, anything like that)

In reading all the forums, I have seen people discuss the bookmates/openpage covers.  I would love a tradesize since I have been accumulating a lot of tradesize books since joining pbs.  I know it's a longshot, but you never know.

***If anyone makes cloth bookcovers, I would love a betty boop, comedy and tragedy  (masks) or celestial tradesize.   (or solid color- not green, yellow or orange please)***

I loaned my bookweight to my sister, who just had surgery on her left elbow, so she is able to read.  (She is having difficulty keeping the book open with one hand)  But now I don't have it to use myself, and I kinda rely on it myself with the arthritis in my wrists...  would really appreciate getting another if anyone can help.

I'm decorating my room in Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team so ANYTHING pertaining to them (or standard hockey things) would be fantastic.

I have a thing for pens. Interesting, different pens would be fun.

Anything that is able to be worn that has "Poison" on it, as in the band. I know this  is an odd request, but I'm going to a Poison concert in July. (My best friend bought me a ticket for my birthday, what a treat!) I have nothing to sport with them on it though!

Last one is also an odd request. Anyone have any sunscreen that is over an SPF of 100? I'm a pasty white chick who burns at the mere THOUGHT of the sun. I can't find any over 100 anywhere!

I am wishing for:

Drug Rep pens and/or anything Zumba I am totally and hopelessly addicted. LOL And since I've only been going to class since March I don't have anything yet except a shirt my friend made me. I would love anything DVD's, books, a homemade bookmark LOL literally anything Zumba related. Thanks!!

I am in need of some of that fingertip tacky stuff that is useful when you count money (which I have to do at work).  I've gone to the office supply stores and can only find big containers of it; I need a wee little pot of it.  Anyone got some of this stuff lying around?  

Having recently acquired an almost-obsession with lip balm, I am hankering after a new one in a refreshing and/or unusual flavor --  think lemon, grapefruit, cucumber, spearmint, etc. (not super "sweet" such as cherry, strawberry or cotton candy).  

Also wishing for a cookie cutter in the shape of a groundhog.  There's a very cute one listed on Amazon , but it says it's unavailable.   I am a great lover of all things groundhog, plus I love to bake, so this cookie cutter (or a similar one) would cause me great delight!

This month I am wishing for a lot of the same things:) Thank you to everyone who has responded in the past. Many of you have totally made my day!

1.Makeup, perfume or acne items. I have really fallen in love with Proactive and found that it works better than most. Even if these things are opened I will still use them.

2.Stationary. Whether notecards, postcards or regular stationary we will use it. The children have pen pals and they like using different stationary:)

3.Military related items. Someone sent postcards in the past and the boys love these. But anything military related.

4.Victorian items. Teacups, charms, etc.

5.Restaurant coupons. Our favorites are Chik-fil-a, Steak and Shake and Olive Garden. And the Chik-fil-a and Steak and Shake near us take expired coupons so it doesn't matter if they are out of date.

6.Notepads. Either spiral lined or just the sticky ones.

Hello Everyone!

I am currently wishing for anything...and I do mean anything  with snowmen on it or snowman related. Seriously not picky, ANY size,shape or color scheme snowmen)  My 3 year old is currently snowman obsessed. I'm actually even trying to pull together a snowman birthday party in June, lol.

If there are any that love to take pics that would like to help me out, I have a hobby where I take pictures of everyday things and make words and personalized collages out of them, (such as: Close up tractor tire= the letter O ,or,  open ladder from the side= the letter A, or, a Rail Road crossing sign =X,  etc... ) Also, snagged letters from current signs work I got an awesome "D" from a Yard Sale sign down the street,lol!

I'm ALWAYS looking for new cool "letters" from anywhere your imagination sees them. I just thought it'd be neat to maybe have some that were not locally found. These can be emailed if anyone wants to help me out!
