A very quick read. Not a very deep read. It's like this: You learn about the main character in a very slow, enjoyable pace... Then some arbitrary spooky stuff happens that causes you and the main character to go "Huh?"... Then a climactic spooky thing happens, still unrelated in every way to everything else that goes on in the story... And he saves the girl. Who only became involved in an afterthought and wasn't even "seen" during the final moments anyway. What I'm trying to say is: I'm posting this book in the system right now, but it's bad. Really. It's bad. Quick, easy, and bad.

A quick read without being scarey or challenging. I found myself skipping over whole, unnecessarry chapters that were boring.
I usually tend to enjoy haunted house stories but this really missed the point. Honestly, I couldn´t wait to get through the book.

This is part of the Harrow House trilogy by Douglas Clegg. I read them in order, straight through. My over all impression was... meh. Slow in places, completely extraneous in places, and a thoroughly expected and disappointing end to the series.

No blood and guts here. Just a good written ghost story! I'll try Clegg again, hoping for something more

Another story about Harrow House, this one is the story about it when it was a private school. A young boy, Jim Hook, goes to the school just like his brother and father before him. Just like them he is initiated into the Cadaver Society. But, he has powers unlike the rest of his family
