RULES

For those who don't know what a coupon train is, let me explain.

• When starting an envelope put in at least 20-30 coupons, then mail them according to list order, 4th post below.
• The person who receives them takes out what they want, then replaces with the # of coupons they took out. (For example, if you take out 10, then replace with 10 more).  
• Then the process is repeated.

NEW RULE: ALL EXPIRED OR CLOSE TO EXPIRED COUPONS MUST BE REMOVED ON YOUR TURN. You can either toss them or send them to Jessica (she collects them to send to an army base.); your choice. Envys are becoming way too cluttered with expireds. 

• PLEASE post here when you get envelope AND when you mail it.
• PLEASE do not keep envelope over 2 days. Only exceptions are weekends and holidays. Let's try to keep the train moving quickly!
• IF YOU CANNOT GET AN ADDRESS BY THE END OF THE DAY, JUST PM ME. I HAVE THEM ALL ON FILE!!

If you fail to abide by rules, you can be kicked off the train.

I understand that some of us may not find what we need, etc... and you are welcome to leave at any time if so, just please let us know in advance. Thanks!!

Round 4 on way to Crystal from Florida (before the rain hits us from Irene!)

I got both Round 1 and Round 2 in the mail today from Jen.  I will look through them tonight and send out both Rounds to Flo (Flobee) by tomorrow before I go to work at 1 p.m.  I REALLY hope they survive whatever mess hurricane Irene is supposed to be bringing us on the East Coast!!!!!

Hope nobody minds, but I am having Tara merge train Rounds 1 & 2. :) Please let me know if you do not see your name on the list. Thanks.

ATTENTION FOLKS: We are gaining quite a few passengers so I have split Round 4 into 2 groups. Now it is Round 4 and Round 5. Please check the list for order above and make sure your name is there. Thanks.

Also, after Rounds 1-3 make it back to last passenger on list, all envelopes will be mailed to me so that I can combine them. I have split us into smaller groups for good (in Rounds 4&5) so coupon trains can make rounds a little quicker. :)

P.S.....Thank you to whomever added the Excedrin coupons!!   And thank you for the Toys 'R Us coupon.....I shop early for my sons christmas presents so I'm not stuck in crowds and this coupon will help a lot!

D. K.,  I try to keep us mailing to closest person, but I think 1 round I didn't.  No, we don't mark specific coupons for people so everyone has a fair chance at them. However, anyone is welcome to mail specific coupons, outside of Rounds, to a person who can use them. :) Internet printables are more than welcome. I know some of us can use them. I do have an addy list, but have discovered it is easiest to have members pm the person they will be mailing to asking for their info. The train order is posted on PAGE 1, 4th post down. Feel free to pm me if you have more ?s. Hope this helps.

OK....I'M CONFUSED!!!!  PLEASE HELP!!!

I've already received Rounds 1 & 2  (as stated above) and Flo has now received them  (as stated above).  I got an envelope of coupons in the mail today, opened them but haven't looked through them yet.  This envelope was sent to me by Shannon V.  On the outside ( or inside ) there isn't a Round #...just PBS Coupon Train.

Soooo....what round # is this one???  Looking through Pam's posts above:

1.  I got Rounds 1 & 2

2.  Shannon is supposed to send Round 3 to Jeanne G.

3.  Shannon isn't in Round 4....but I am.

4.  Shannon IS in Round 5....but I'm not.

WHAT'S GOING ON???   And who should I be sending this envelope of coupons to next because non of this makes sense now!  lol!!

P.S.... I'm not yelling at anyone or am angry at anyone....I'm just extremely confused now and want to make sure we're all on the same page with this. 

Tara, pmed you. I am thinking it must be either some EXTRAS specifically for you OR Shannon mailed Round 3 to the wrong person (That was MY BAD, not hers, LOL!). Just hold onto them until I hear back from her. Sorry for all the confusion.

IF YOU MAIL SPECIFIC COUPONS TO SOMEONE, PLEASE DO NOT PUT COUPON TRAIN ON ENVELOPE. JUST PUT IN A SMALL NOTE OR WRITE ON ENVELOPE, NOT PART OF TRAIN--FOR YOU ONLY (Something along those lines.) You might even pm person to let them know ahead of time to save confusion.

I am trying to get us down to only 2 rounds at once so not as confusing. Since Jeanne will receive 1, 2 & 3 all at once-- she is going to combine them all into one envelope labeled Round 3.

I thought they were round 1 and 2 as they are the only ones I've received at this point.  My internet was down for a while (darn phone company) and Pamela told me to send them to Tara as my name was the last on the original list.  However, after I sent them, I was able to see that there was a new list posted and that Jeanne was after my name, so I was extremely confused and at that point, it was too late to change them since I had already sent them out.  I apologize for any inconvenience I caused anyone, but with my internet not acting right, I couldn't access the new list at the time.  I was able to get into my account, but not into the message boards at all.  The internet would freeze up on me if I even tried.  If you need to remove me from the list due to the confusion, I would understand.  Again, I am sorry that I threw everything off.  It was not intentional and I am very sorry that I caused a problem.
