SOOOOO good.
I love Elizabeth Boyle and this story doesn't fail. I absolutely adore when the hero falls in love at first sight and is forced to make due until he is ready to admit it.
This is one of her many Bachelor series - all of which are great.
Set in England at the beginning of the 1800s, readers are pulled into a story with a few twists and turns.
Definately a recommended read. Enjoy!

I really like Elizabeth Boyle and this is another success for her. The story is fun, kept your interest and you really like the characters.

Lady Elinor Standon mistakenly takes the Duke of Parkerton for a solicitor and proceeds to hire him to help her find a highly titled, wealthy nobleman (preferably a Duke) to marry so she can protect her young sister from their stepfather. What follows is a wonderful comedy of errors and mistaken identity. If a book can make me laugh out loud than I consider it an excellent read.

This was a terrific installment in the Bachelor Chronicles series, which I was about ready to give up on. I was so disappointed in How I Met My Countess, I really thought maybe Elizabeth Boyle was just phoning it in.

The characters in this book are older, he is in his 40's, she in her early 30's. There is the typical silliness of him posing as someone else, someone lower class whom she comes to love despite their supposed social differences. But Boyle tells a fast-paces, romantic story that is good for some smiles and has some steamy scenes to boot. You can probably find the same recipe in many romance novels but it really takes good writing to make none of that matter. It was just a fun romance to read.
