From an Amazon review: "I am not and never have been a romance reader, but I'll always read Hollings books. She is that good."

It made me laugh because I just read one of Holling's books and it was... a typical romance.   Good, but nothing extraordinary.  This reviewer is cutting off her nose to spite her face. :-)

Well maybe she got a little side wage to say that. lol It seems that, from what I have been reading around here, not all of the reviews on Amazon are to be viewed as true reviews.

I have noticed that other authors jump on the boards and give their friends great reviews.....and they're stupid enough to mention that they, too, are authors which makes readers immediately doubt the authenticity of the review anyway.
