What are opinions on her newest, Whitethorn Woods?

I've read all her other books, but the only one on my Shelf at present is The Glass Lake, if anyone's interested.

I've never read one that I didn't like!  My favorite, i think, was Scarlet something, about a catering firm.

Scarlet Feather must be the one you are thinking of. I have it on my shelf.

I haven't liked her last couple of books. I feel like she's pretty much phoning them in now. Whitehorn Woods was basically a collection of sketches, very, very loosely tied together. Not very satisfying, IMO.

My favorite of hers is.. I can't believe I can't remember the title. The one about all the people going home on the same bus.

I didn't care for it but I liked all her other ones. Quentins is still my favorite though. Tara Road is a close second.
