OK, I got  "Knit One, Kill Two" as an "unpostable free with order" from another members shelf.  To be honest, I hadn't expected to like this... but, I thought a friend of mine would.

Well, toay I picked up two books to take to Starbucks, and this was one of them (in case the primary choice didn't hold my interest- and it hasn't). I started this Sefton book... and I like it! I like the descriptions of Colardo, the cozy shoppes, the characters... very well written so far.

I am sure someone here has been reading the series, what do you think? Does this one qualify as one of the previously discussed series that doesn't have a love triangle for the heroine? I went ahead and wishlisted the others in hopes that its a good series.

Leslie ~ I thought the first three were pretty good, and the fourth was just so-so.  But I like the characters, and plan to keep on reading :)

OK, I ordered #2 and #3 tonight. Man, the member I got these from had such a good shelf. I already had to shop at the kiosk to get a credit for the second book! Eeeeks!

I really like the series and Carl.

I just finished A Deadly Yarn and reposted it and I'm hoping to find book four either here or at my local used bookstores.

I just finished the second one... I loved it as much as the first. I TRY very hard to switch back and forth between authors to hold my interest and keep my reading from becoming monotonous, but I am just itching to read the third book. I have the 4th, 5th and 6th wishlisted, too. :-)

I love this series. I have the first  4 on my keeper shelf. I will buy 5 and 6 when they come out in paperback.

Carl is just wonderful.

I know this is an old thread but I just started this series this past week - found a bunch in a row at the library - yeah! I loved the first 4 but not sure what happened around book 5 - not sure if I burned out or if i was just tired or what but it seemed to jump around a lot and had a darker tone to me with all the stuff going on. I finally skipped to the end and now started fleece navidad which I think is book 6 and it's just 'different' in tone from the others I think. something I thought she already had from the previous 2 books it sounds like she's still looking for in this one..guess Imissed something? just wondering if I should stop or keep going. Carl is probably my fave character along with Steve.
