Ver enjoyable mystery/whodunit fiction. Fund writing, and good characterizations, murder in the film industry. Romance too
Isaac's writes the best books
Called in to investigate is Steve Brady, an ex-farm boy turned detective who has nothing but disdain for those with lots of money and egos to match. Topping the long list of suspects is Sy's ex-wife Bonnie, a strangely appealing woman with energy to burn both in and out of bed. As the case against Bonnie builds, so does Brady's obession with her. It isn't long before he is laying the case on the line for her, ignoring all the rules... and the evidence.
Very entertaining read.
This one was on the bestseller lists for a while! Set in the Hamptons...murder, provocative, and romantic!
