Ever know an individual so full of her/himself that you kept hoping that sometime, somewhere she/he would get his? This is the story of just such an individual. George Amberson Minafer grew up believing that he was better than anyone else. After all he had money, more than anyone else he knew. He dominated his childhood groups and continued in his beliefs until he meets pretty Lucy and her father. Then he grandfather loses all and the only grandson of a poverty stricken aristocrat must find his own way. This is the fascinating tale of an individual who is what he is because of his doting family members.
