"10 years agothe queen gave birth to her firstborn child, the future queen. While the queen and the Extra Ordinary wizard were planning a celebration party, an assassin was loading a pistol. The assassin kills the queen. The queen drops her crying baby. The apprentice to the Extra Ordinary wizard grabs the baby. The assassin kills the Extra Ordinary wizard. The apprentice flees to the Wizard tower with the queenling.
A couple of days later the Heap family welcomed their newborn seventh son, Septimus Heap, to their family. The first day of his life he dies.
10 years later spies have found the queenling and plan to kill her at midnight. Will she escape?
I loved this book. I listened to the Audio tape and I found out that when I first read Magyk a year ago I missed a whole bunch of stuff. Anyone who loves Harry Potter or Charlie Bone will love the Septimus Heap series. I read the other books in the series and I love this one more than the others.
I loved the characters so much! My favorite character was Boy 412 and Jenna. They are so realistic. I loved the clearness of the story and how realistic it was (not counting the magyk). I cant wait to read the fifth book of the series called Syren. (Do not skip ahead in the series to books that sound better, read all of them in order!)
Look out for the Septimus Heap books!"
