Just thought that I would post this here in case some people are from where the truck came from and mailed things out. http://www.poconorecord.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100409/NEWS/4090360/-1/NEWSLETTER100 ~Kelli |

Whoa. Hopefully they can find at least one of the addresses on most of it so that people will know what happened to their mail, but yikes. I hope there wasn't anything really important and hard or expensive to replace on that truck. |

Hmm, that last photo shows coins spilling out of a FedEx box.
We were told they were taking the mail to Syracuse to be looked over etc. |

Well, so far I don't see any PBS wrappers! Maybe the Media Mail didn't make this trip. Hope so. I've gotten a couple of damaged pieces of mail - some of it wasn't even mine. But none of it was burned. I'd guess that the rest would be water-damaged. Guess this counts as another possibility for using plastic??? ;D Ruth ETA - Another reason for "damaged by USPS". OMG...I thought this was about OUR mail truck, you know the little "toot toot" truck that goes with the PBS DC. ::sheepish grin:: As others have said, I hope there was nothing valuable or irreplaceable on the truck! Cheryl |

I hope the driver is okay. They didn't mention if he got out before the fire or not... |

Both drivers were able to get out safe. |
