A 1980 paperback with over 100 pages the last 24 are photographically copied from a cookbook first published in Leicestershire September 29, 1664. The script of these recipes are written in old style English in the era when the letter "s" looked more like an "f".
So words like "lobster, salt, shells, small and close"
look like "lobfter, falt, fmells, fmall, and clofe".
The modren recipes are much easier to read and follow!!
