I came across a book yesterday listed as "Prac Gde Dec Antique" -- Intrigued I clicked on it to see what in the world it was. In reality, it was "The Practical Guide to Decorative Antique Effects". Turned out to be a book I wanted and if I had been searching for it, I never would have found it because of the abbreviations. I know it is a pain, but when you list a book whose title is abbreviated, take a moment to edit the book data, because if people can't find the book they can't request it! I have corrected it already so I won't have to when I relist it. Same thing goes for books listed under just the author's last name -- please edit those as you come across them through listing books, so that people can find them!

I think people also need to do this with author names.  So many are spelled wrong and then those books don't come up when you do an author search.

Good reminder!  I found one book on my list had the wrong title.  The wrong title came up when I put in the IBSN, and I didn't even notice until I finally scanned the cover and saw the title was different.   Thankfully, the good people at the PBS team helped me correct it.   Now perhaps someone will find it.
