Suggestions for your family and recipes are peppered thru out the book. While some stories are very touching and nostalgic, others deal with pain in a family. One of the authors was raped as a young woman and feared facing her father. Other stories are very honest and open about difficult and hurtful times all families face. Not just a book with a bunch of stories. Truly insightful and inspiring.
