Hi-

After being a member of PBS for more than a year, I just recently noticed that if you only  glance at my profile name that it looks like, irishlASS, and yes, I am stressing the ass. Obviously it’s irish lass, but because I didn’t put a space in there, if you happen to just glance at my profile name, it looks like, “something ASS”, which when I realized I did that made me feel like one, too.  ;o)  Then I thought, are people looking at my profile name and wondering who the heck would call themselves an ass?! LOL   It’s really not a big deal and I chuckle every time I look at it now, but have you ever known of anyone being able to change or edit their profile name?

Kellie

Sorry but it looks like you have to keep your nickname. The help center states this under setting up a profile........

Your PBS Nickname cannot be changed after it is chosen, so be sure you are happy with your choice!

Actually, a number of folks have changed their names, so it can be done. I wouldn't worry about it though, after all, we are a group of readers, aren't we :-)

I didn't notice anything.  It looks obviously like lass to me, and I am not exactly the sweet innocent that sort of thing wouldn't occur to.

Kellie--

I always viewed it as "Irish Lass" too, but perhaps the PBS folks could modify your capitalization, so you'd be "IrishLass", with big L?  Doesn't hurt to ask :-)

Cheers,

Catt

Registered as "Irish Lass" on these old, malfunctioning brain cells, too.  So it can't be *that* bad.  ;-)

You can Send Richard a note and ask him to change the I and L into capitals so that it reads IrishLass.  That might help.  Good luck!

I read it as Irish lass also, but as others have said, you could ask for a modification by using the 'contact us' button at the bottom of each page, and explain why you want it changed.
