Overview: Teaches the basics and a "have fun" approach to youth baseball. Provides managers and coaches with all the information needed to make a child's baseball experience rewarding. Features 20 of the most important and frequently used Little League rules; drills for players on hitting, baserunning, defense, and pitching; tips on drafting players, motivating players, and game strategy. Illustrated with photos and diagrams.

My Review: I coached my son's youth baseball team for three years. As a woman coaching a boys team, I needed to brush up on my baseball background. This book helped me increase my confidence and skills in game strategy. The boys enjoyed the drills and responded well to the basics coaching.
