There used to be one, but it seems it faded away. Sadness. Are there enough people interested anymore that would want to try again at some point, or am I just being hopeful?

Either way, something to try and activate this section of the forum a little bit, as it is sad and lonely. :)

Sounds like fun. I'd be interested.

I also love your signature. Charmander is the best.

I've pretty much given up on getting manga here because most people seem to want to hang on to the stuff they have.

I miss it too, and have been considering asking Shannon why he stopped them.  :(

I'm pretty sure it stopped because there were no participants one month, so without one to carry, it just never went on.

Well, there was at least one willing participant that month, because I've been playing in all the manga swaps Shannon has held if I knew about them!!!

What we do in the Manga swap is that we send 2 credits to our host and then our host (usually Shannon) matches us up with a buddy.  Then we shop for our buddy and send two volumes from their WL to them.

Of course, we could always just buy ourselves two manga, but where's the fun in that?  :D

What about a manga trade at least temporarily? I have a few series that I don't read as often as I would like but would still like to keep them as mine however I wouldn't mind lending them out to other people as long as we have an understanding that they're kept in the condition recieved. The initial issue that I had with buying manga was that they're really expensive! So although I think that the manga swap system currently in place is wonderful I wouldn't be able to join due to finances...

I'm sure everyone here feels the same about their manga that they want to keep and are skeptic of others keeping it in good condition but I'm sure if there was a community set up that the members would all have the same feelings and in respect would keep mangas in perfect condition

PM me if anyone is interested in the idea?
