Man how did I even miss this category of manga?! There are several manga guides to... lots of stuff!! Calculus, the universe, linear algebra D= the list goes on and on... well in english there are 10 books and in japanese there are 36 and probably more to come..

And then! Apparently Kodansha put out 5 "Edu-manga" books on people like albert einstein and anne frank...  D= where was I? lol!

Anyone know any other series that I should be looking up? :/ like educational ones? I just stumbled upon survive inside the human body series too which is from the same publisher as the manga guides... Who knew. :l

https://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=12065 - Here's a link to a Baka-Update forum post all about vaguely educational manga. Almost all of the manga is fictional, but they supply lots of information about historical events, cooking/food, Japanese life/history, and more!

http://www.mangashakespeare.com/ - This series takes actual lines from Shakespeare's plays and illustrates them in crazy settings! Haha! Several of them are futuristic and couple are Victorian-ish, but they are pretty entertaining.

http://www.howtodrawmanga.com/ - Manga University is a publishing house famous for the "How To Draw Manga" series, but they also have published a cookbook and several books covering kana and kanji!
