Search - The Manning Brides : Marriage of Inconvenience / Stand-in Wife (Mannings, Bk 2)

This book contained two stories, "Marriage of Inconvenience" and "Stand-in Wife." I enjoyed Rich and Jamie's story (Marriage of Inconvenience) better than I enjoyed Paul and Leah's story(Stand-in Wife). I found Rich and Jamie's to be more humourous than Paul and Leah's. Plus it was a little strange that Paul married his wife's sister. But that seems to happen in some romance novels but I've never been a big fan of marrying into the same family.

This a an excellent book. I can't wait for The Manning Grooms that comes out later this year.

I am sure I am in the minority here but I did not like none of the stories in this book. But for the fact they are by one of my fav author I would have never forced myself to finish the book.

I did not like Jamie, most of the time she was confused and came off as being stupid. Poor Rich! I absolutely sympathized with him.

As for Leah, never have I met a more stupid heroine. No one ask you to compare yourself with your dead sister and secondly did you expect he would love you and not her when she is the Mother of his children to whom he had been married to for 6 years? She was just selfish and full of herself. Again I sympathized with Paul...

I enjoyed this book very much

I enjoy Debbie Macomber books, and these 2 stories were no exception!
