Mansfield Park - Oxford World's Classics
Author: Jane Austen, James Kinaley
This novel focuses on the life of three families--the Bertrams, the Crawfords, and the Prices--with the isolated figure of the heroine, Fanny Price, at the center. Austen uses Fanny's emotional involvement with the people around her to explore the social and moral values by which she and they try to order their lives.

I love the books heroine, Fanny Price. She has a passive quality that I do not possess but that I can learn much from. Fanny's loyalty to those she loves or feels beholding to makes her one of Austen's most beguiling characters.
