Thought I'd start this one for a change....for once I have some goodies!

I have all 3 of the Anne Rice Interview with a Vampire series; just read them and they are pretty good--the second book is as good as the first, and the third book is as well, but it is a little different---not worse, just different. Will post any or all to your WL, or you can have the whole set for only one credit--special for my HF buds!TAKEN

I also have the entire Aztec series available. Same deal as above, except whole set for 2 credits.TAKEN

If no one PMs me for the above titles, I'll wait til 3/10 or so to post them generally into the system.

I also have an unpostable Labyrinth by Kate Mosse--great read, just finished it for my IRL PBS book club. Spilled a little tea on the first 20 pages--they are wavy at the bottom right corner, but perfectly readable. Front and back covers are fine and un-spilled-upon. Free to a good HF home.

This is a good Holocaust novel (Not on my shelf) -

The Children's War :: Monique Charlesworth
ISBN-13: 9781400040094 - ISBN-10: 1400040094
Copies Available: 1

This next one is not really H/F and there are plenty of copies available, but it's one of my all-time favorite books and I don't think I've recommended it here yet. It's a wonderful book! It's so intense and leaves you thinking about it for a long time after you have read the last page. I've read it twice and will always keep it on my "Keeper" shelves so I can read it again one day.  (Not available on my shelf here)

The Bone People :: Keri Hulme
ISBN-13: 9780140089226 - ISBN-10: 0140089225
Copies Available: 14

Description -

In a tower on the New Zealand sea lives Kerewin Holmes, part Maori, part European, an artist estranged from her art, a woman in exile from her family. One night her solitude is disrupted by a visitor -- a speechless, mercurial boy named Simon, who tries to steal from her and then repays her with his most prized possession. As Kerewin succumbs to Simon's feral charm, she also falls under the spell of his Maori foster father Joe, who rescued the boy from a shipwreck and now treats him with an unsettling mixture of tenderness and brutality. Out of this unorthodox trinity Keri Hulme has created what is at once a mystery, a love story, and an ambitious exploration of the zone where Maori and European New Zealand meet, clash, and sometimes merge.

Is anyone interested in "The King Must Die" and "The Bull From the Sea" by Mary Renault?  My copies have been with me for years; they are both hardcovers with dj, ex-library books and are probably book club editions from the late 50's/early 60's.  Both are pre-ISBN.  I'd like to send them together to a wonderful, loving home! :)

Taken!  Thanks!!

I'm first in line for Daphne's book "O'Juliet" if no one else claims it. Somebody should snag it though...I have too much to read already! It sounds like it will be a good read. ;-)

I just finished Ariana Franklin's Grave Goods...loved it and have ordered off PBS Mistress of the Art of Death.  The second in the series doesn't seem to be available in paperback, which is odd---anybody know anything about this? I couldn't find an ISBN for a pprback of it.

PM me.

I just received a brand new hardback of Hester by Paula Reed from LT's early give away. Of course, it's a bit late and I've already read and reviewed the library copy.
