This is another great book by Eugenia Price. It chronicles Lewis Flemings' grief at the loss of his young wife and then his marriage to beautiful, young Margaret. Together they rebuild Hibernia on the St. Johns River in northern Florida, and fill it to overflowing with the laughter and tears of their large, close-knit brood. But nothing could have prepared them for the ravages of war, the rampaging Seminoles and then the victorious Yankees plundering their cherished South. A wonderful story of love, hope and faith.
