I received a book in today and overall looks pretty good. I dont mind old library books just means someone else already wore the book in for me :D . But the book is seperated from the binding towards the end you can see the inside of the binding and I know that in the help articles it states

Binding:

  • Must be intact, with no separation on the inside or outside of the book
  • If the book tends to open at a particular page, this is OKAY
  • Small amount of fraying or denting at top or bottom is OKAY

how extensive does it have to be to mark it problem? I don't want to be overly picky about it  Here is a link to a picture of what it looks like

Thank you for any help :)

A book that is separated from the binding is unpostable and should be marked RWAP.  However, the book may have been fine when she mailed it and may have separated due to rough handling from the post office.  It is up to you if you want your credit back.

I just looked at your picture. If it were me, I would mark it RWAP, damaged by sender.

Thank you everyone for the advice I have marked it RWAP and we will see how it turns out . On the few that I have had in the past the process has been smooth. :D
