There is no Enroute to Me feature for a book I've received, no Was The Book Received button and so I can't mark it as received. What "Help" describes is not true for the site and I'm hoping someone who's seen this before can bail me out. I was expecting the book, so it had to have been marked as mailed by the sender, right? What broke the chain?

Thanx from a newbie who doesn't want to be put in the position of starting out on the wrong foot. This sender deserves a credit I can't give him.

Thanx - EJ (KirbyHoover)

Sounds like the sender forgot to mark the book mailed, and the transaction was canceled by the system. Look in your transaction archive and see if it is there. You can mark it received from your archive, just make sure you mark the correct request.

Hope this helps!

Hi EJ--

Welcome to PBS :-)  There are more details on what Jane is talking about in the Help Center under "I got a book I requested, but I can't mark it received!"

Cheers,

Catt

Yes, and if that's what happened, your request would have been passed onto another sender, if there's another book posted into the system.  So take a look whether there's another request pending, and see if you can cancel it.
