I was looking thru my book lists and saw a book the I had requested and I thought I received so I marked it as received. Come to find out that it must have been canceled because I received it from someone else instead and never got it from the person I had marked as received from. Now I lost a credit for it and the person won't reply to my messages asking to have the credit returned.What do I do? Is it just "one of those things"? Any ideas? Thank you!

I had exactly the same thing happen (It's a problem from being overzealous and not caffinated enough, in my case). I never got the credit back, I just chalked it up to "experience" which I figured was worth a credit.

Same thing  happened here, as well.  I thought I had forgotten to mark it received but after marking it received I realized that it was a cancelled transaction.  :(  I PM'd the person who got my credit but I never got a response.  I've learned to be a lot more careful.
