Hi everybody!  I need some advise! I received a requested audio book in the mail (and  in a very timely manner!). However, the sender did not and still has not marked it as mailed! I pm'd her yesterday and reminded her she needed to mark it so I can say it was received. She still hasn't done it. What can I do at this point? I thought about gifting her the 2 credits.  Since it hasnt been marked mailed, will I get a notice asking have I received it? I don't think so

What else can I do?

First, make sure that the request on your My Account page is the one for the book you received. If the first person did not mark it mailed and the request rolled over to a second person, that's the one on your My Account page now. You can check this by looking in your Transaction Archive for a cancelled request and also by matching up the request ID on the label to the one on your My Account page.

Once you've verified that you're working with the right request, then if the sender doesn't mark it mailed, the system will eventually cancel it and it will roll over (assuming there are other copies available). When that happens, you need to cancel the new request before that new sender mails the book. If you aren't able to cancel from your side, make sure to send a PM asking her to cancel. Only after you are absolutely certain that you will not be getting a second copy of the book, then you would go to your Transaction Archive and mark the first book received from there.

If you do get a second copy of the book because the first sender fails to mark her copy mailed, then you are not required to mark her book received.
