I received a WL book that was severely unpostable. It had tea or coffee stains about 1 inch wide from the bottom up of each & every single page causing every page to be stiff and wavy. I marked it RWAP and sent a pm to the sender stating that I had received the book, but it was unpostable with liquid damage and staining when it arrived and requested my credit back. I also sent the info from the Help Center about no stains, or liquid damage. So it's been about 4 or 5 days since I sent that pm & have heard nothing back yet. I plan to give them a few more days to respond because of the holiday and all. What do I do if they don't end up responding at all? |

Since it is a Holiday weekend they could be gone. |

Per the Help Center, give them a week to respond and then if they do not, send in Feedback regarding the lack of reply on their part. They may not be on-line due to the holiday or the weather issues on the Gulf Coast, so waiting a few more days may be the way to go with this one. |

Unfortunately you lose your credit... I have one I marked RWAP over a month ago--then sent a 2nd PM requesting my credit return--then sent a copy of my PM"s to PBS....so far no response. I marked it RWAP as it was marked on the front : ***Advance Uncorrected Proof **Not for Sale***(Does not meet club requirements) |

Also, don't forget to go back to your transaction archive and mark the transaction as "sender did not respond", which prompts an auto-email from the PBS folks reminding the sender that they need to respond and resolve. You don't say where the book came from, but as others have mentioned, it is a holiday weekend, and lots of folks have evacuated from coastal areas (and more are going to, if Hanna keeps at it), so take the sender's location into consideration -- you might look at their profile to see if their acct is on temporary hold or has a note about vacation/hurricanes/other emergencies. Double-check your transaction archive. Last time I had a RWAP and asked for the credit back I was frustrated because it had been a week and I hadn't heard back, but when I went to the archive I discovered she was apparently a conflict avoider- there was my credit back but she had never answered me!
