I have a book that was delivered a week ago (PBS postage and DC). If they never mark it received will it still go lost and take my credit back? |

If you used PBS DC you're all set. |

Paula, I would send a gently worded PM to the receiver and ask them to mark it received. They may have just forgottent to do it. |

It was actually marked as "Notice Left" on 4-13. On about the 19th I sent a PM to inquire and remind them that it would be returned if it wasn't picked up. On the 20th it was marked as "delivered" so I'm not sure if they got it, or if it was re-delivered. I never received a response so can't be sure which it was. How would you word a 2nd PM? |

I would just say; Hi, I was just trying to tie up some loose ends in my account and was wondering if you would mind taking the time to mark the book ____ received so that I can get all caught up. I really appreciate it and hope you have a great weekend.

I think Margaret's suggestion is very good! I tend to be a bit compulsive about finding out if the books I have mailed how gotten to their destinations. I don't use delivery confirmation so I am always a bit anxious until I get that received message. Just about everyone I have dealt with has been very quick to mark it received in a timely manner. There was one time when I was really getting concerned that something had happened to the book, so I sent a PM. The person said they had been gone on vacation and had their account set to hold. I constantly though have to remind myself that people have very busy lives and sometimes just forget. I hope your sitation will be resolved quickly. Like I said before I agree with sending a friendly PM. I know I would appreciate a reminder if I forgot. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I'm at Talledega for the Nascar race! Andrea

I will send them a PM like you suggested. I'll let you know what happens! |

Also, keep in mind that "delivered" simply means it was delivered somewhere...not always at the correct location. |
