I had a book sent to my sister for a gift, she received it, though it had pencil writing on 5 pages....When I went to mark RWAP, the drop down list did not have what I was looking for, (writing in book)  So I instead sent a PM to sender regarding this issue.   She is going to erase marks and keep the book, so I am not asking for a credit back..  Just wondering about the drop down list... thanks

It's been a while since I marked something RWAP, but isn't there a "damaged by sender" option?

If it is sent to a third party you can not RWAP the book.

I thought they now allowed RWAP sent to a third party.  If they don't, they really should have.

The only RWAP I've ever received was the wrong book sent to my brother.  At that time, they didn't allow me to mark it RWAP.

If the system allows you to RWAP a third party book, it would be Damaged By Sender.

I guess I was looking for a different option...besides Damaged by Sender..writing in a book didn't seem to fit this option, but I see where it would.  I'm confused about the 3rd party of it, guess I will look again at regulations.  Thanks for the responses

If the damage happens in the mail, it's Damaged by the PO and any other damage except mailing damage is Damaged by the Sender.  Lots of people seem to be looking for other options, but that's what we got. In the body of the PM, you describe the exact issues.

We didn't used to be able to mark a book sent to an alternate address "received with a problem", but we're able to do that now.
