Lame. She repeats the phrases "My husband, my hubby, and Motor City Madman" hundreds of times and makes sure that we know she is a rock star wife. Seems like she is trying to prove to us that they are still happily married after Ted's brief affair, and she never fails to remind the reader of what an amazing, talented, athletic, brilliant, well-versed, (did she say amazing 300 times?) man she is married to. She criticizes Van Halen's contract clause about no brown M & M's in their dressing room, which they did to make sure their contracts were being followed, but tells the reader repeatedly how many people stole from The Nuge. Disappointing and annoying.

Shemane Nugent gives us another boring celebrity memoir.
She airs some conservative talking points and not much more than that. I would have really liked her to go a bit deeper into The Nuge's extramarital child (she barely says that ted had an "affair". Smells a but hypocritical to me. Can't ignore it because it's out there, but skirt the issue by blaming girls with moral deficiencies, etc etc. Babe, you married a rock star, live with it!

This is a great book. Shemane Nugent has her head on straight. Unlike most rock star wives, Shemane has got it together. You will enjoy a wonderful read. She has had an interesting life with Uncle Teddy.
