If you have not yet read any of her books, do so.  I have read The Book Club, The Four Seasons , Time is A River. I just finished The Beach House ( this is one of the best books you will ever read) and now I am reading the sequel Swimming Lessons.

I still have Sweetgrass, Skyward and the Girl in the Mirror to read. The Long Road Home is on it's way to me now.  I have the last 3 The Burtterfly's Daughter, The Secrets We Keep and The Last Light over Carolina  on my wish list and can't wait to get them.

All of her books make you feel like you are part of the story.  When you read The Beach House have the tissues ready.

I have recommended a few authors and have gotten pm's saying how much people liked them.  I can't wait to hear how much Mary Alice Monroe is loved.

Thank you Bertie, for reminding me of an author I love.  I haven't read her last couple of books, for some reason, but they are not on my reminder book!  Isn't it great when you discover a gem of an author?

Thanks - I didn't know about the sequel to The Beach House. I will pass that on  to my book club - we all love Mary Alice Monroe.

Thank you! I picked up a couple of her books because they sounded great and have yet to read them. The Book Club and Sweetgrass. I'll have to bump these up on the priority list now. :)
