I'm reading Sleeping with the Fishes right now and I love it! It's such a fun, no-brainer book.

This is my first experience with this author and I wanted opinions about her other stuff.

Thanks! :)

Cool, I will check that series out! :)

Anyone else with any opinions on this author?

I just read the first two Fred the Mermaid books and have the 3rd on on my WL.  I'm in the middle of the 1st Queen Betsy book, and love that on as well.  Good stuff.  :)

I read Derik's Bane.  That was a fun werewolf tale.  I laughed out loud with that one.  The ending was rather silly but it was so much fun I didn't much care.  I also read a short story in 'Bite' based on her Queen Betsy character and that was a fun read as well.  I have the first 3 Queen Betsy books here in my TBR list.

I love love love the Queen Betsy ("Undead") series, it's hilarious and it's the quickest read around. Because they're so quick and short I would never buy them in hardcover, and I think it's stupid they started doing that. Anyway, that's one of my favorite series, but her novella collections are usually really good as well.

Excellent! So I will have to read more of this author then for sure! :) I'm finding it really easy to get lost in this book and not think about the daily grind, ya know? I'm really enjoying it!
