I knew, after reading wonderful novels that Gayle Lynds co-authored with Robert Ludlum, that I had to have her books. I started with this one and was certainly not disappointed. She weaves a captivating tale in and around a beautiful CIA agent that has no memory of who she is. As the truth about her past unravels, she encounters dangers that could not have ever have suspected.
The jacket blurb says "A fantastic read ... I could not put this book down." Normally I find that type of review overstated. This time it wasn't. I finished it in one night, not wanting the action to stop. The story line has the heroine waking up and looking in a mirror to see a stranger looking back. She has no memory of her past or her present and no hope for a future when she's told that she is a former CIA agent and the world's most famous assassin has marked her for his next target. In order to survive she's got to solve the mystery behind her amnesia and her growing doubt that the people around her are what they seem. This was a terrific action filled read.
I could not put this book down very good. A real page turner.
