This is the paper copy manual that comes with Mastercook 4. If you have MC4, then you also have HELP right there within the program itself. (But the manual is there for installation help, etc. There are no recipes inside it.)
Mastercook 4 was new back in the late 1990's (and at that time, both MAC and PC users could install). Afterwards, new issues (5, 6, 7, 8 ,9) have been widely in use (however, starting w/version 5 it's PC only) and they have a completely revised engine..so this manual will do nothing for you.
IF you find a copy of MC9 in stores, I would suggest you grab it. It's under $20 (as were all versions) and well worth the money. It has features not found on MC4 and older. (MC4 is still usable, however and sometimes can be found in bargain bins, etc. The software does come with some recipes and is tranferable to earlier or later versions).
