All I can say is that Ms. Gregory has a penchant for multiple murders, political intrigue and complex story lines that keep you engaged and guessing right up to the end.

I was angry, outraged, relieved, surprised and outwitted all by fictional characters who supposedly lived 700 years ago.

I recommend the series, each story has been fresh and the characters and their circumstances are very relatable.
