This is a Love Inspired by Diann Walker... and there is a sequel (which I will read soon). In fact, I have a feeling she is going to have a series of books based in Bliss Village, a fictional town near Tahoe, CA. This book was a bit like Shakespeare's "A Comedy of Errors". First there is Lauren who caught her fiance kissing her best friend and lost her job all in a matter of days. Now she is headed to Bliss Village for some R & R courtesty her bests friends, Gwen and Candace. Garret owns Woods Inn in Bliss Village. He is a widower with 2 teenage daughters who have something up their sleeves. They have advertised a contest, Who Can Win Daddy's Heart.. and it is too late for Garret to stop it. The 5 top contestants are arriving... except for number 5.. who's appliocation has been lost. Enter Lauren again, who goes to the wrong bed and breakfast and finds herself in the middle of the Daddy's Heart concert. She assumes this is the surprise her friends told her about and so she decides to make the best of it. Afterall, it's 2 free weeks of relaxation. Or is it? I suspect you can guess how the story goes... but you will have fun getting there. The other characters are hilarious.. an outdoorsy woman who loves to hunt and butcher wild elk, a goth clad vegetarian, a timid mouse, and a bawdy Scarlett O'Hara. They make for some interesting happenings.

Very fun book! Not much depth, but definitely entertaining.
