I'd guess ideal for 2nd graders, although I'd like to try this on my 4th and 5th grade classes. It's finding out how many objects on the page (all but one have less than 100), and it's not a Where's-Waldo matter of finding the hidden object. Most of the 16 poem/problems are grouping type problems, a couple are subtraction types (a grid with several objects missing), I guess you'd call this pre-multiplication.
