Archy McNally is the most charming rogue you'll ever encounter in a book!

As always, Sanders mesmerizes you with his cast of characters. No one is ever what they seem to be initially. The plot twists are well tied together, so, in the end you have a satisfied feeling. No loose ends dangling around.

One thing I have found interesting in Sanders' novels - he always describes the meals his detective has, in delicious detail. Sometimes I wish there were a Pelican Inn somewhere in virginia.

It was a sad day when Lawrence Sanders Passed away - I'll miss listening to the escapades of Archy - and the world will miss a great writer and storyteller.
