Pretty enough for a gift. Lovely, colorfl collage illustrations.

Unfortunately, this book wasn't as thorough as I had hoped it would be. It merely provides a random assortment of facts and history tidbits concerning the flowers that are included in the book. The array of flowers presented in the book is not very comprehensive, and the botanical information on the flowers is nonexistent.

If you are looking for a thorough book that covers a diverse array of flowers and includes uniform and in-depth botanical, historical, and cultural information on flowers, I suggest you keep looking.

This book is so beautiful; it is indescribable. It has very imaginative pictures of the flowers in collages, and tell the meaning of each flower in different cultures around the world. Great gift book; especially for one who loves beautiful flowers.
