Anyone notice that media mail is moving faster lately?  I thought it was just a fluke but this week  3 of 4 books I mailed arrived in 5 or less days!

usually quicker in Spring and Summer-because of the weather and no major mailing Holidays like Christmas.  Rain doesn't slow the mail up but the snow and ice of winter sure does. Oct-Jan is usually slow because of all the Holiday mail and then winter weather added.

I've noticed the media mail I send seems to arrive in 4-5 days, yet, books on their way to me take 2-3 weeks to arrive LOL

I have noticed it seems to be moving more quickly the past month or so.

It seems that books coming to me from across the country get here in about a week. But the one from the state next door has had 3 weeks to get here and I'm still waiting. I wished they would have used DC on it. I would bet that it took the scenic route!

Most of my media mail is getting where it needs to go in about 5-7 days.  Has been that way for quite a while.  Pat

Even during the winter and snowstorms this year my books came within 7-10 days.

I sent one (actually 3 in a deal) almost two weeks ago and it still isn't there. Kind of makes me a little nervous since everything else does seem to be moving faster (I got a book in 2 days a couple weeks ago around the time I shipped these). So wherever these books are going to it must still be moving a little slow. Assuming any of the other millions of things that could have happened haven't.

I mailed 10 books on Saturday.  All but 1 of the books that were mailed Media Mail have been received, but the 3 First Class books have not.  Usually it takes a couple days for MM to get from Atlanta to Memphis, then another few days to get to the next hub near the recipient, but not this time. Very strange.

I was amazed yesterday  (3/10) when I received a book from Puerto Rico that was mailed on 3/6! That's only four days and I live in Michigan. It was sent media mail, too.

Makes me nervous too when that happens, especially since I never use delivery confirmation. Once I mailed 3 books on the same day.  2 arrived within 5 days, the last took almost 3 weeks - and I've mailed books to that state before that arrived within a week.  I was so thankful when it finally got marked received.

I never use DC either. Luckily the books were marked received on Friday. Exactly 2 weeks after I sent them. It was a good reminder to be patient. Not that I will be in the future, but I can try. :P
